Deleting your NeevOs account
NeevOs is used by schools to run their day. Your login exists because your school created it, and under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 the school is the data fiduciary for the records it keeps about you or your child. So deleting an account is a request to the school, which the school decides.
How to ask
- Sign in to NeevOs (the app or the web).
- Open Delete my account at
/account/delete, read what happens, and confirm with your password. - Your login closes immediately. The school office reviews the request.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted on approval: your login, your sign-in sessions and registered phones, your in-app notifications, and your name on messages you sent (shown as “Deleted user”).
- Kept by the school: the student, staff or guardian record and the school records that reference it — attendance, marks, fee receipts, the audit trail. Schools are required to retain these.
- If the office declines — for example while fees are outstanding — your login is re-opened with their note.
If you cannot sign in
